Fittings for PPCH, PPRCT and PPH
Every joint in an Anjney line is fused: socket fusion fittings up to 160 mm (200 mm on PPH), electrofusion fittings from 200 to 630 mm, and flanges, branch adaptors and threaded transitions to connect equipment.
Heated on a mating tool and pushed home. The standard joint up to 160 mm on PPCH and PPRCT, and up to 200 mm on PPH.
Joins two pipes of the same size in a straight run.
Turns the line through a right angle.
Turns the line through 45°, for offsets and gentler changes of direction.
A smooth, wide turn that keeps pressure drop low at the bend.
Takes a branch of the same size off the line.
Takes a smaller branch off the line.
Steps the line down from one size to a smaller one.
Closes the end of a line.
Not offered in this line.
A heating coil moulded into the fitting fuses pipe and fitting from inside the socket. No bead in the bore. 200 to 630 mm.
Joins two large-bore pipes with a full, unobstructed bore.
Large-bore change of direction without a weld bead.
Large-bore branch with a clean bore through the joint.
Flanged connection to valves, pumps and equipment on large lines.
Steps a large-bore line down in size.
Not offered in this line.
For connecting valves, pumps, tanks and equipment, and for taking branches off large lines.
Fused to the pipe; a backing flange bolts it to valves and equipment.
Electrostatic-coated metal flange that clamps the core flange.
Takes a branch of any size off an existing line, including large headers.
Not offered in this line.
For connecting threaded valves, gauges, filters and tools to a PPCH compressed-air line.
Fusion socket on one side, male thread on the other.
Fusion socket on one side, female thread on the other.
Lets a threaded valve or filter be removed without cutting the line.
Drop points for quick-release couplings, gauges and air tools.
Not offered in this line. Threaded fittings are made for PPCH compressed-air lines only; we do not recommend threads in chemical service.
Size ranges by product line, from the Anjney catalogues. Other fittings and sizes on request.

Fusion parameters live on the fitting, not in the fitter's memory. The cycle is machine-controlled, and it works in trenches, congested racks and tie-ins where a butt-fusion machine will not fit.
Cut the pipe end at right angles and wipe it free of dirt and moisture.
Remove the oxidised skin over the full insertion depth. Fusion bonds to fresh material, not to weathered surface.
Mark the insertion depth, clean the scraped area with approved wipes and let it dry.
Push the pipe fully home to the stop, align it, and clamp so nothing moves during the cycle.
The control unit reads the fitting's fusion parameters and runs the cycle. No operator judgement needed.
Allow the full cooling time before removing clamps or applying load, then pressure-test.
Socket fusion from 20 to 160 mm on PPCH and PPRCT, and from 20 to 200 mm on PPH. Electrofusion from 200 to 630 mm on all three lines. We do not use butt fusion.
Moulded socket fusion fittings for PPCH and PPRCT from 20 to 160 mm are rated PN 25. For electrofusion and PPH fittings, give us your design pressure and temperature and we confirm the rating for the line.
Yes, for PPCH compressed-air lines: male and female threaded adaptors and unions from 20 to 63 mm with ½″ to 2″ threads, and female threaded elbows and tees for drop points. We do not recommend threaded fittings in chemical service.
With a core flange (stub end) fused to the pipe and a step flange (backing ring) bolted to the equipment flange. Core flanges are socket fusion up to 160 mm (200 mm on PPH) and electrofusion from 200 to 630 mm.
Yes. Branch adaptors take a branch of any relevant size off an existing line; on PPCH they connect to headers up to 315 mm.
Yes. We provide fitter training, jointing procedure sheets and commissioning support, and mark up joint positions on your layout.
