Chairman's desk

Growth on two pillars

Mr Prahalad S. ThakkarFounder and Chairman, Anjney Group

Business is more than bridging demand and supply. A company grows on two pillars: the growth of every person who works in it, and the satisfaction of every customer who uses what it makes.

Anjney Tubes India set out to be the originator of its own technology in piping, and to bring a better, energy-saving product to market with every generation. The multi-layer glass-reinforced pipe, now protected by an Indian patent, came out of that work.

Our achievements belong to our team members, dealers, vendors, associates and customers. I am grateful to our bankers, suppliers, customers and dealers, and to my family, whose support carried this business from its first days.

A message from our CEO

Make our technology easy to verify

Mr Parth ThakkarChief Executive Officer, Anjney Tubes India

Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai
Master's in Chemical Engineering, University of California, Berkeley
Two years with SLB, United States
CEO since April 2026

I joined Anjney in April 2026 after training as a chemical engineer in Mumbai and at Berkeley, and two years with SLB in the United States.

Chemical engineering teaches you to see a plant as a system of flows. A great deal of the energy a plant pays for is lost between its machines: in pressure drop, in leaks, in corrosion and at every joint. That is the problem Anjney has worked on since 1995, and it is why I chose to build my career here.

My priority is to make our technology easy for engineers to verify. Our product pages carry the figures from our data sheets and test reports, and for any project we size the network and put a like-for-like installed cost against your current specification before you decide. We are taking the range into chemical service with PPH, into large bore with electrofusion to 630 mm, and deeper into solar cell and module manufacturing.

If you are planning a new plant or replacing an ageing line, send us your line schedule. I look forward to working with you.

Sustainability

How we run our own plants.

  • Renewable energy

Every Anjney division runs on solar energy. We generate what we consume.

  • Water management

Every division has rainwater harvesting and treatment, so water is saved, reused and returned to the ground.

  • Social responsibility

The Anjney Charitable Trust runs Swachh Bharat work, chaas distribution, monthly kits for staff, and old-age and widow pensions. Our CSR work.
